Paul Reeve shows
Sorry, there is nothing for the moment.
Paul admits to having no particular influences impacting on his taste in music as long as there are guitars, bass and drums driving an infectious rhythm. Which is why Paul enjoys seeing music played live. Two standout concerts for Paul were Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In The USA” tour at Wembley and The Notting Hill Billies featuring Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits at The Mean Fiddler. But one concert he would love to have gone to see would have been the late Tom Petty.
Paul has been a presenter since 2019 having been introduced to SHCR by fellow presenter Mike Edwards when it came up in conversation at The Running Horse over a few beers with fellow musos. At the time Paul had no radio experience but had always enjoyed putting mix tapes together for friends and he liked the idea of doing something similar on air.
No prizes for guessing Pauls favourite tv shows. When asked what guests he would have on his show he chose two fictional characters – Hawkeye Pearce from M.A.S.H and Frank Furillo from Hill Street Blues.
Paul’s other great passion is football and he has long been an “armchair” supporter of Arsenal. However he does have seven cup finals under his belt including a European Cup Winners final in Brussels in 1980 which Arsenal lost on penalties. He is also a very keen cyclist and can often be seen pounding the mean streets of Surrey and his idea of a perfect holiday would be cycling (and eating and drinking) his way round Italy.
