Lady Red / Presenter

We have our own sassier version of “The Lady In Red”! Lady Red co-hosts the late Saturday afternoon show “Music Is Life” providing a two hour feast of music and light hearted banter. Lady Red’s musical interests span a wide range of genres including Drum and Bass, R&B,  Garage, Hip Hop and whatever is in the charts that catches her ear.

Her fantasy studio guest would be Tina Turner. Although her story of breaking on through to the other side has been told many times over, it would be so exciting to hear it one to one in the studio. And if she could have persuaded her to sing…….But too late now.

Lady Red became a presenter by chance in September 2023. The original plan was simply to help her partner and fellow host set up the studio. But once behind the mic there was simply no stopping her.

Apart from music her main hobbies are walking in the New Forest; going to the theatre (favourite play “Wicked”) and reading (preferably thrillers from the likes of Cassius Cox, Colleen Hoover, and Martina Cole). Lady Red is not unique in admitting to a love/hate relationship with the gym but that is not going to get in the way of munching her way through her favourite chocolate bar –  the only guilty secret she is willing to share!  Lady Red is too busy to watch too much TV but she will always find time to watch her two favourite films – “Dirty Dancing” and “Pretty Woman”.  Her top holiday destination would be a toss up between the romance of Italy and the rugged outback of Australia.
