G-Man / Radio Presenter

G-Man shows

G-Man presents a show with less chat but more vibes and gives him the opportunity to indulge his passion for dance anthems old and new although he would admit his guilty pleasure is cheesy pop music from the likes of the Vengaboys.  However his route into music was via his mum who always had music on the radio in the kitchen.

G-Man is no stranger to live performances having run a mobile disco since he was fourteen and can currently be found at Dorking Rugby Club, Dorking Golf Club and Betchworth Golf Club. He has also compared the Westcott Village Fete for the last nine years but for him the attraction of presenting a show on SHCR was the opportunity to play his choice of music. Back in the 80s G-Man did a brief spell at Hospital Radio Dorking which gave him that first thrill of live radio.

If he had had a choice of guest on his show it would have been the late Queen Elizabeth if only for the gossip on her long list of Prime Ministers. G-Man loves live music and has been three times to Guilfest and twice to the Creamfields festival in addition to a host of concerts including those by Queen, Erasure, Level 42 and Luther Vandross. But the one performer he would have love to have seen would have been Elvis especially his comeback concert or failing that, Freddie Mercury.

In G-Mans spare time he plays Bowls for Dorking Bowls Club and is a member of Dorking Cycling Club. G-Man is such a fan of Sci-Fi films like Star Wars, Star Trek etc. He even enjoys building Star Wars Lego. As he says himself – he sees himself as a Peter Pan figure thinking he is younger than he really is – hence the dance show.  His dream holiday would be Hawaii if only to say to a policeman “Book him Danno.”
