Chris Harris / Radio Presenter

If a radio show were likened to a box of chocolates that would perfectly describe “Sunday Selection” but without the coffee creams! So the show reflects all of Chris’s favourites including classics like The Beatles, The Bee Gees and Elton John and not forgetting Elvis and Abba. And Chris would jump at the chance of having Paul McCartney guest on his show.

Chris has been a presenter on SHCR since 2015 after responding to an article in The Leatherhead Advertiser. But Chris has a deep love of radio dating back to his early 20s when he was working in  London and he would take his lunch breaks in the foyer of Capital Radio star gazing the likes of Kenny Everett and Chris Tarrant. Chris took the opportunity while there to do a voice over course and SHCR is enjoying the benefits of that training.

Chris also has an impressive cv when it comes to concerts having seen Michael Jackson’s Black & White tour at Wembley where he also saw Oasis. He has also seen Elton John many times but equally memorable was attending the 2005 Live 8 concert timed to precede the G8 conference.

Chris has tried out the drums and bass guitar and would love to take them up again.  Chris is a keen football fan and his team from childhood is Liverpool but for the last ten years he can also be seen at Leatherhead FC.  A dream holiday would be Rio de Janeiro for the scenery and the culture but Chris would be equally  happy on the beach sipping a strawberry milkshake reading someone’s autobiography.
