The Big 30th Birthday Broadcast

On Friday 20th October 2023 at 12pm, Danny Andrews (presenter of Danny’s Empower Hour) was live on Surrey Hills Community Radio and YouTube for a marathon 30-hour broadcast.
Going all the way through to Saturday at 6pm, there were 30 challenges, 30 guests and 30 costumes. It’s was absolutely bonkers!
His outlook on life drastically changed since his Grandad, John Andrews, sadly passed way with Parkinsons disease. So, in honour of his Grandad, combined with his absolute love of broadcasting and turning 30, he decided to take on a massive charity broadcast, Andrews style!
Danny raised a whopping £25oo! The funds were split between Parkinsons UK and SHCR.
