DJ Hightower / Radio Presenter

Aiden’s alter ego goes by the name of DJ Hightower and as he is probably the tallest of SHCR’s presenters he would probably grace any basketball team but SHCR is more than happy to have him hitting the airwaves with his enigmatically named show “Listen Choon Wednesdays” which could either focus on a specific type of music or take the form of a more general show.

Aiden’s main musical interests lie in Jungle and Drum and Bass as well as buying vinyl since the 1990s. Aiden has been dj-ing since the 1990s and is an experienced radio presenter having presented on pirate radio stations around south London in his younger days. Living in the local area it was inevitable for Aiden to join the SHCR team and meet like-minded presenters.  If he were allowed one guest on his show it would be fellow radio presenter Alan Partridge to swap stories.

Aiden is more of a clubber than a concert -goer and so his favourite concert would have to be seeing MF DOOM in Brighton but if he had to choose a concert it would have to be Jimi Hendrix for his iconic status.

Aiden fesses up to a couple of guilty pleasures  – binge watching “Home Under The Hammer” and watching what he calls cheesy cockney gangster films with Danny Dyer although his favourite film is “Escape To New York”.  Other interests include making his own music through computers and samplers and taking the air cross country cycling. As holidays Aiden would be more than happy on a beach somewhere warm with access to great food.
