Thank you to the incredible local firm Cunningham Eves Solicitors! They have so generously sponsored the radio station listen again system.
Long story short, our provider of over ten years became unreliable causing issues with presenters being able to listen again to develop their skills or use their radio broadcasts as part of their CVs.
Not every community radio station offers this feature, but we believe it provides value to our presenters. It allows them to revisit their shows, reflect on their progress, hear their skills develop over time, and build a portfolio of work for future opportunities. Whether they pursue a career in media or not, the communication, technical, teamwork and confidence-building skills gained through community radio are highly transferable.
Our Listen Again service also benefits our listeners. Life is busy and it is not always possible to tune in live. Being able to listen back means our community can continue supporting local presenters and enjoy the fantastic range of programmes being created in their own time.
