The Claire and Laura Show interviewed their first guest on only their second show! [First broadcast 27 April 2016]
After a chance offer to play football in front of Chelsea Football Coaches, local boy Josh Evans has played and coached across the world local boy and now runs his own business which he set up 5 years ago in order to offer high quality football coaching in the area. With a career that has seen him at Ashtead Football Club, the Under 10s Head Coach at Crystal Palace plus the youngest coach at Chelsea when he was only 15 years old, Josh now works with around 1800 kids on a weekly basis.
The interview focused on how to dream big, staying true to yourself and the importance of friends and family in supporting you. Josh also spoke of how working hard, over coming barriers and finding something you love will pull you through anything.
In line with the next Claire and Laura Show that is looking at exam stress busting techniques, when Josh was asked his top tips for exam stress, he said “Do things you hate like you love them and you’ll be alright.”
The show then strayed into the territory of guilty pleasures, something that makes you feel great certainly in a stressful situation. Josh then shared his guilty pleasure was a cheeky Nando’s!
A clearly well loved member of the community, we were inundated with comments and praise for Josh and the work he has achieved with so many children.
